Dr. Lawnscape was founded in 2010 as a young man decided to take the leap of faith and turn a life long dream into reality. The journey began for owner Matthew Dedman while studying at the University of Kentucky and working as a foreman for a local lawn care and landscape company. What originally started off as just a job along with his love for the outdoors, quickly turned into a passion and a vision for the future.

Upon graduating he decided to embark on the arduous path as a solo operator. This required long, hard hours, many sleepless nights and a relentless work ethic. However, despite many times wanting to, Matthew never quit and kept putting in those long days year after year.

Eventually he could start to see his dream coming to fruition. Each year the company grew and eventually he could hire his first worker which at the time felt like a true gift. Now, 15 years later, Dr. Lawnscape has grown into a full service lawn care and landscape company with multiple crews and a dedication to their over 150 properties and clients and continues to grow each year.

The true gem of the company is Matthew’s wife, Anindra Dedman. She works as a Civil Engineer but has also taken over the duties of architectural landscape design creator as well as Social Media and Marketing manager for Dr. Lawnscape. Her innovation and modern thinking contribute to the growth and success of the company.
